Have you ever seen anything so…lust worthy?

I love bags! Other people obsess on what they will be wearing on special occasion. I obsess over what bag to use during those occasions. My car has at least 3 spare bags , just in case bags. Im mot really careful with my bags, since they are there for me to use as I please and sell after wards.That is why I CANNOT and WILL NOT lust over the really expensive bags like the LVs and the others. Mine is still limited to COACH, Dooney and Bourkes, Longchamps, Michael Kors and the likes. One girls expensive bag is another girls cheap bag right? What maybe expensive to you , may not be expensive to me and vice versa. But if I have oodles and oodles of cash, I would definitely put BUY BAGS on top of my to do list, right up there after saving the world and all. hehe

The minute I saw the playful poppy line of COACH, I was mesmerized. I never thought that COACH would release such playful pattern. I always think of COACH as something the older set would use. Something practical and elegant. NEVER PLAYFUL, not even with the watercolor or the patchwork they released. But this poppy line? they must be gearing to get the teen market as well. So playful no?

The COACH haileys convertible bag is more practical and easy on the eye. I need to save around 298 USD to get one of these babies. Maybe I can get the frustratedmr to buy me one…( wishful thinking…)

Enjoying my Nokia E71

I am a mobile addict. I cannot function properly without this amazing gadget. In fact, I cannot even imagine existing without it…its like an appendage.

I received a Nokia E71 from GLOBE telecom for renewing my subscription with them. First thing I noticed was the keypad it has. QWERTY feature…need to actually use both hands in typing texts. Fairly easy to do, and im getting quite good at it. The screen is quite big, but most of the new mobile games do not have it in this size. But what I love most about it is that it detects WIFI pretty darn good! better than my old n95 in fact. Frustratedmr got a blackberry from SMART and asked me if I wanted to trade. Thanks … but no thanks…

S & R annual sale

Last Sunday, My sis in law announced that S & R will be having their sale on April 1 to 5. So today, thinking that people are actually saving and scrimping because of the recession, I foolishly left our humble abode at around 11 AM. Lo and behold! The parking was a breeze if you wish to have your car parked waaay back and with the sun scorching my newly parlored hair… it wasnt really a stroll in the park, if you know what I mean…

Goodness gracious! The place was PACKED!!! young and old people with carts filled with pillows , a lot of tissues and others…but for crying out loud, the prices werent even that great. I would never buy a pillow for 600 bucks… the tissues werent even worth falling in line to. So I herded my complaining brood out of the supermarket area to buy the yummy chicken calzone and what else did I see? A long line of people buying pizza…

I left buying just some C2 apple and Lapid’s chicharon outside S & R… geez…

Making a salad…

Okay, I admit. Im currently trying to lose weight. I’ve gained like 20 pounds in 5 years and I’m starting to feel like a hippo. Today, I made a salad with Balsamic vinegar dressing.
Ingredients of the salad:
Iceberg lettuce (air dried using a wall fan)
Kani Sticks ( the authentic ones, not the cheaper version)
cubed ripe mangoes
sliced cucumbers ( peeled and “deseeded”)

Vinaigrette:
about 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp Olive oil
1 tbsp table sugar
few drops of sesame oil

I have never in my life made any kind of dressing so I totally made this dressing up frequently dipping my fingers to taste it… I read somewhere that I should add patis, garlic and freshly ground pepper…Since Im too lazy to do anything right now, will just make do with what I made and make the rest tomorrow. The salad is currently inside the ref, together with the dressing…
Now excuse me while I finish off my cucumber salad…
